Our Mission

To provide the best possible care and education for all children 6 weeks to 12 years of age in a healthy multicultural environment that encourages all children to explore and grow socially, emotionally, academically, and physically.
We also recognize that the welfare of the family unit is integral to the well-being of the child and strive to work with all families to ensure a successful early-childhood experience.
As a center, we are responsible for advocating in the greater community for all children.

We Believe

Our primary responsibility is to help each child develop a positive self-image. To further this goal, we build on the strengths of each child. We encourage children to understand that each person is unique and yet all people share certain feelings that need to be respected. We treat each child with respect and dignity so that the child will feel accepted and comfortable. We believe that children are naturally curious and eager to learn. We provide numerous opportunities for children to explore by providing experiences in and out of our center. We believe in helping each child become all that he or she is capable of becoming:
ACADEMICALLY through group and individual experiences in language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. Each of our groups follow a Maryland State Department of Education approved curriculum.PHYSICIALLY the children develop through use of large and small muscles.EMOTIONALLY through the expression of feelings and the understanding that it is okay to be different.SOCIALLY through sharing, playing together.
We believe that all children are special. It is our goal to nurture that uniqueness and creativity while preparing them for the future.
